Is Bailu good in 2024? ›

Bailu is a 5-star Abundance character who is one of the Standard characters and was one of the most desirable characters in the start due to being one of the only two healers.

Bailu has access to a signature Light Cone, which is named Time Waits for No One and is the best option for her.

Bailu is the better of the two in Honkai Star Rail regarding healing. Natasha isn't a bad option, especially given that every player is guaranteed to get her. You can also build her up faster, unlocking her full potential. When fitted with the right pieces of equipment, she can carry on the healing process quite well.

Tapping into the voices from the community, it seems clear that Bailu's superior healing abilities give her an advantage in most battles. One player, bringbackcayde7, pointed out that 'Bailu heals a lot more than Lynx. ' Nonetheless, Lynx's cleanse ability could tip the scale depending on the situation.

Despite having a few downsides, such as the occasional unreliability of her skill healing and limited utility compared to some other characters, Bailu remains a unit worthy of investment and team-building.

Heck, we can even argue that Gallagher is better than the standard 5-star Abundance character Bailu. Bailu provides bigger healing numbers and a free revive, sure, but the healing from her skill is RNG-dependent and her revive is honestly just a crutch that ideally should never get used anyway.

Bailu is more SP positive to neutral, while Huo Huo is more SP neutral to negative. 2. Huo Huo has stronger skill burst heal with debuff clear Vs Bailu's weaker skill burst heal, but Bailu has burst ultimate heal to balance it out. Both are good imo, but has their own weakness.

Bailu was the strongest healer when the game came out, but others have overshadowed her since then. Bailu can revive an ally thanks to her Talent, Gourdful of Elixir, once per battle, which is very powerful.

Thankfully her max energy is only 100, which is really a small amount. Still I recommend using speed boots on her to be safe. Also , If you can't leave spare skill points for your sustain to use because your dps is Skill point heavy(Kafka, Seele, Qq, IL etc) , er rope is also a good choice.

Bailu could also get by with Quid Pro Quo.

Although this doesn't help Bailu's build, it doesn't cause any problems either. Post-Op Conversation and Cornucopia are also suitable replacements for Time Waits for No One since they both boost the Outgoing Healing of Bailu's UItimate.

Best Light Cones For Bailu

Just slightly less useful than the Post-Op Conversation Light Cone - mostly due to the sheer power of Bailu's ultimate - Shared Feeling provides a solid healing boost and regeneration boost whenever you use Bailu's restore skill.

Although her height of 3'9" and her usual demeanor make her seem younger, Bailu is in her late teens to early twenties, but likely not older than 21. This is because Bailu is a Vidyadhara, a long-life species that tends to age more slowly when compared to regular humans.

For many people, healer without cleanse = not worth using. Just look at Bailu, despite she has such strong healing abilities (probably the strongest of all healers in HSR), people often look down on her because she can't cleanse (not me though).

Natasha can solo sustain if the team if good enough (high damage, breaks weakness) and you give her more speed. She "can" but if she isn't E6, it's harder than Natasha solo sustaining. At the very least, have M7 use the Herta LC. This makes it so she can more or less ignore shielding herself.

Bailu could also get by with Quid Pro Quo.

The Light Cone's bonus restores some Energy to a random ally when the wearer's turn begins. Although this doesn't help Bailu's build, it doesn't cause any problems either.

Bailu. Bailu is already a great healer even without any Eidolons, but surprisingly, her best Eidolons provide even more utility to the party in addition to enhancing her healing capabilities.
